The Mila IV Catheter long with introducer is a veterinary IV catheter system featuring a catheter-over-needle introducer, a long catheter with stiffening wire, and an advancement drum. The drum houses the long catheter and functions as an advancement system designed to minimize touch contamination. Introduction technique is long catheter through introducer; the introducer catheter remains indwelling and the long catheter hub locks onto the introducer hub. The long catheter is made from radiopaque, kink-resistant polyurethane embedded with a fluoro‑polymer formula to aid ease of placement. Size: 22G x 8 in.
