Artisan Chairside Table｜ Furniture

From Fairfield Chair's Lenoir, North Carolina workshop, the Artisan Chairside Table combines a century-long upholstery heritage with meticulous construction quality. Designed to serve the room as naturally as it complements it, this piece rewards careful selection with years of dependable performance and enduring visual appeal.
Construction begins with a solid hardwood frame joined at critical stress points for maximum longevity. The seat relies on 8-way hand-tied springs—a labor-intensive method that produces superior weight distribution and a more even sit. High-resiliency foam holds its loft through thousands of use cycles, ensuring the piece remains as inviting as it was the day it arrived.
The custom upholstery program allows this piece to be tailored to a wide range of design visions. From tight-woven performance fabrics for active households to richly textured weaves for more formal interiors, options are broad and carefully curated. Lenoir-based upholsterers hand-cut and apply every cover material, ensuring precision at every seam and a polished result.
Designed and built in the United States by a company with over a century of experience, this piece is a considered investment that pays dividends in daily comfort and long-term satisfaction. Fairfield Chair's reputation for reliability, artisanship, and enduring style accompanies every piece into the room it calls home.
