Taylor Gold Label 517e

Powerful Vintage Warmth. Modern Playability. Timeless Design.

Experience the deep, resonant voice of the Taylor Gold Label 517e, a round-shoulder dreadnought built for players who crave old-school acoustic warmth with refined, modern comfort. Crafted with a solid torrefied Sitka spruce top and solid tropical mahogany back and sides, this Grand Pacific model delivers rich, seasoned tone and exceptional projection right out of the case.

Designed with a slightly deeper body and equipped with Taylor’s V-Class bracing, the 517e enhances low-end power, extends sustain, and improves intonation across the neck. The long-tenon Action Control Neck™ joint boosts resonance and allows for effortless adjustments to string height, ensuring a perfect playing feel for every guitarist.

The 517e is as visually striking as it is sonically bold. A modified headstock with a back-angled cut, script-style Taylor logo, and a uniquely shaped firestripe pickguard distinguish this guitar as part of the exclusive Gold Label Collection. Appointments include cream binding, a single-ring cream rosette, Honduran rosewood Curve Wing bridge with Indian rosewood pins, and Crest inlays on the fretboard and peghead.

Complete with Taylor nickel tuners, LR Baggs Element VTC electronics, and housed in a British Cocoa deluxe hardshell case, the Gold Label 517e is built to inspire—from stage to studio and everywhere in between.
