Common Questions
Are limit straps a necessary upgrade for my RZR XP?If you run larger tires and wheels, or frequently encounter terrain that causes your suspension to fully extend, limit straps are highly recommended to prevent clunking and protect your shocks and CV joints.
How do I adjust the limit straps?Shock Therapy straps are adjustable at the shock body mount, allowing for precise tuning to account for natural stretch without losing valuable suspension travel.
Do I need to weld anything to install these? No, our patented billet aluminum upper clamp attaches directly to the shock body head with no welding required. The clamp is also designed to be 'clock-able' for easy installation and clearance.
Are limit straps considered a wear item?Yes, limit straps are considered a wearing item similar to brake pads. They have a finite lifespan and will eventually need to be replaced after significant use.
