HJC HJ-42 Shade-X Photochromic Shield｜ Other Products

The HJC HJ-42 ShadeX Shield is built to keep your vision sharp through every lighting change. Designed for the RPHA 12 and RPHA 12N, this photochromatic visor automatically adjusts its tint as conditions shift, so you can ride from bright sun to shaded roads without interruption. It removes the need to carry extra shields or stop mid-ride, giving you a clean, simple setup that works all day. ShadeX technology reacts quickly to UV exposure, darkening in bright conditions and returning to a clearer state when light fades. With a visible light transmission range of 30–80% and 99% UV protection, it helps reduce glare and eye fatigue while maintaining clear visibility. The Pinlock-ready design supports anti-fog inserts, making this a reliable upgrade for riders who want consistent performance in changing environments.
