Mavic Aksium Disc Brake CL Thru Axle Road WheelsetThe Mavic Aksium Disc system wheels for your road bike with disc brakes promise strong performance in daily use.Straight spokes provide stability and stiffness, while the versatile and lightweight rims reduce the inertia of the wheelset and increase agility. Rim profile, spoke geometry and pattern are all designed for use in combination with modern disc brakes. The larger rim width allows for the use of tyres with a width of up to 32 mm, which means more riding comfort and pleasure at the same time. All in all, this is an ideal introduction to the world of Mavic road wheels.Because entry-level at Mavic doesn’t mean inferior quality, as evidenced by the high-quality Instant Drive 360 toothed disc freewheel of the Aksium Disc wheels. This is because Mavic usually builds it into much more expensive wheels.Technical details:• Rim material: S 6000 aluminium• Rim profile optimised for disc brakes• Width: approx. 23.9 mm• Height: approx. 22 mm• ETRTO: 622 x 17 C• For Presta valve• Spokes: steel spokes, round• Number of spokes: rear wheel: 24 pcs / front wheel: 24 pcs• Spoke pattern: rear wheel: 2-cross / front wheel: 2-cross• Nipples: ABS steel, self-locking• Hub material: aluminium hub body, aluminium axle• Brake disc mount: Centerlock• Freewheel: robust Instant Drive 360 freewheel system (toothed disc system)• Compatibility: 8/9/10/11/12-speed SHIMANO HG/SRAM• Bearings: self-adjusting, sealed cartridge bearings (QRM Auto)• Front hub spacing: rear wheel: 12 mm x 142 mm thru axle / front wheel: 12 mm x 100 mm thru axle• Weight: approx. 1,905 g (set/without tyres); approx. 870 g (front wheel/without tyre); approx. 1.035 g (rear wheel/without tyre)• Recommended tyre width: 25 - 32 mm• Recommended max. system weight: 120 kg (cyclist, bike, gear and luggage)• QR Adaptors not includedCompatibilty - Freewheel body: convertible SRAM XD road (kit V2580101 sold separately)Freewheel body: convertible SHIMANO HG light road (kit V3850101 sold separately)Freewheel body: convertible SHIMANO MS (kit V3990101 sold separately)Freewheel body: convertible CAMPAGNOLO ED (kit V3440101 sold separately)Freewheel body: convertible CAMPAGNOLO N3W (kit V4270101 sold separately)Front axle adapters: 12x100 convertible to 9x100 (kit V2680301 sold separately)Rear axle adapters: 12x142 convertible to 9x135 (kit V2510801 sold separately)Rear axle adapters: 12x142 convertible to 12x135 (kit V2510901 sold separately)
