Description: Introducing Gold Spot The Generations Edition, a remarkable tribute to the rich family legacy behind Spot Whiskeys. This limited-edition single pot still Irish whiskey is the second release in the Gold Spot series, aged for thirteen years to achieve a masterful blend of tradition and innovation. It honors two families—the Mitchells and the Speris—who have been crafting spirits and wine for seven generations, bringing together their expertise in a unique fusion. Gold Spot’s signature ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks are enhanced by a special 17-month finish in Valpolicella Classica Italian wine casks from the Secondo Marco winery. This final maturation imparts a touch of spice and layers of dark fruits and berry compote, resulting in a subtly sweet, complex flavor profile. This exceptional whiskey celebrates the extraordinary legacy of the Mitchell family, guardians of Spot Whiskey and respected members of Ireland's wine community.
