Other Products ｜Epilobium - Summer Snow

Graceful and unexpectedly elegant, Epilobium ‘Summer Snow’ brightens the late-season garden with masses of pure white, tubular flowers that shimmer against fresh green foliage. A distinctive selection of California Fuchsia, it offers the same exceptional drought tolerance and hummingbird appeal as its colorful relatives while providing a cool, luminous presence from summer into fall, when many other perennials are beginning to fade.

Growing 12 to 24 inches tall, ‘Summer Snow’ forms a tidy, spreading mound that's ideal for water-wise landscapes, native gardens, sunny slopes, and dry borders. The crisp white blooms create beautiful contrast alongside salvias, buckwheats, penstemons, ornamental grasses, and silver-leaved Mediterranean plants. Hummingbirds flock to the nectar-rich flowers, while bees and butterflies also visit throughout the blooming season.

Plant Epilobium ‘Summer Snow’ in full sun with well-drained soil and low water once established. This easy-care California native thrives in hot, dry conditions and benefits from cutting back after flowering to encourage vigorous new growth the following season. Explore our California Fuchsia Collection to discover more outstanding selections for drought-tolerant and pollinator-friendly gardens.
