Batch Proof 124.7 is the 2023 Woodford Reserve cask-strength release — the highest-proof Batch Proof to date, and Drinkhacker and Bourbon Culture both reviewed it as the year's best Woodford. Woodford Reserve is Brown-Forman's showpiece distillery on Glenn's Creek in Versailles, Kentucky, distilling since 1812 on the site and running the only triple copper pot stills in bourbon; the standard bottle is cut to 90.4 proof, and Batch Proof is the same bourbon — 72% corn, 18% rye, 10% malted barley, triple pot-distilled, aged in heat-cycled warehouses — batched and bottled uncut, a different proof every year. The 2023 is 124.7 proof. Bourbon, Whiskey & Rye on the 124.7: rich cherry, caramel, and toasted oak with a big cinnamon spice, viscous body, and a long, hot, sweet finish — the Woodford fruit at its most concentrated. The Whiskey Wash ranks Batch Proof among the top Woodfords for old leather, buttery corn, and cherry that opens with time. Honest note: enthusiasts who write off Woodford as a 90-proof gift bourbon change their minds at Batch Proof, and 124.7 is the biggest one they've made — a back batch for the collector and the barrel-proof drinker. Neat, a drop of water, time. Batch Proof, 124.7.Buy Woodford Reserve Batch Proof 124.7 Bourbon Whiskey online with fast shipping right to your door.
