Bardstown Bourbon Company Discovery Series #10｜ Other Products

Discovery #10 is the tenth edition of Bardstown Bourbon Company's blending showcase — a series built on composing rare, well-aged sourced barrels into batches that push flavor rather than chase consistency, with every component's age and mash bill printed on the label in a transparency almost no other Kentucky producer practices. Led by Dan Callaway, a classically trained musician and sommelier turned VP of product development, the Discovery Series blends by palate: the team tastes through the rickhouse and composes, in Bardstown's phrase, to push the envelope of flavor and style. This edition is bottled at 114.24 proof, near barrel strength, and like its siblings marries Kentucky bourbon of different ages and recipes — the label carries the exact breakdown, so read it before you pour. Expect the Discovery house signature: a deep amber pour with caramel, brown sugar, and toasted oak on the nose alongside dried fruit and baking spice, opening into a rich, full-bodied palate of toffee, cherry, vanilla, cinnamon, and well-integrated oak from the older components, with the proof delivering warmth and length, finishing long and spicy. Honest note: reception for the series varies batch to batch — Mostly Bourbon found #10 didn't hit as hard as #7 and #8, while others rate it well; it's a blend built for a moment rather than a formula. Bourbon Fool notes these are the bottles collectors chase for profiles they won't see again. Neat, and give it fifteen minutes in the glass.Buy Bardstown Bourbon Company Discovery Series #10 online with fast shipping right to your door.
