Everyday Inspiration｜Rum El At Variable Dunderclap Still Strength Rum｜ Other Products

Rum Et Al. Variable Dunderclap at still strength is the most uncompromising expression in the lineup — dunder fermentation and zero dilution combined into one intensely flavored bottle that serious rum enthusiasts will not forget. Built on the same foundation as Dunderclap — 100% baking grade molasses with 33% dunder replacing water in the fermentation, then double pot distilled to 75% ABV in extremely small batches at Dead of Night Distillery in Los Angeles — this version skips dilution entirely and goes straight from still to bottle. The dunder influence that adds layers of funky complexity to the standard expression is amplified here into something genuinely wild — the kind of rum that rewards the adventurous and challenges the uninitiated. Earthy, fermented funk leads the nose alongside tropical fruit, wild spice, and roasted molasses depth, while the palate delivers a rich, oily, full-throttle expression of what pot still dunder rum can be at its absolute peak. Coriander, black pepper, orange peel, cinnamon, and vanilla build through a long, powerful finish that lingers far longer than any standard rum. Add a few drops of water and watch it transform.
