Pitco SG18-S Solstice Gas Fryer

Fryers are one of the best investments any food service business can make. You don't have to use them to make the typical fries, chicken, or fish. Anything is possible with a little creativity. Your customers will not only love the typical foods that are normally fried, but also anything from pickles, macaroni and cheese, and even ice cream. Don't know what kind of fryer will best suit your needs? Then give us a call, our sales staff will fit you with the ideal fryer for your needs.

One popular option is the Solstice Supreme, SG18-S model from Pitco, with an included millivolt control. It is easy to use and will provide you with large amounts of fried goodies to serve your customers. The tank, front, door, and sides are all constructed of stainless-steel and it stands on 9" adjustable legs. A set of twin fry baskets is included. Then, when you're not cooking, you can put those baskets up the basket hanger. The basket hanger is removable, without the use of tools.

The Solstice gas fryer comes standard with a millivolt thermostat (T-Stat) that can be used for the melt cycle and boil mode. You can also choose the optional quick responding solid state thermostat, this has a matchless ignition system. The Solstice burner technology does not use a blower or any ceramics to run as well as it does. It has a patented, self-cleaning burner and down draft protection that is exclusive to Pitco fryers. Who doesn't love a good exclusive?

Even your most inexperienced fry operator won't have to worry about setting the temperature too high and ending up in an accident. The high temperature safety limit switch will shut everything off if the temperature reaches an unsafe level.

This is a tube style fryer, which will allow small crumbs and debris to fall down into the cool zone. These types of fryers work especially well when you're frying foods with high amounts of sediment or that are breaded. However, that doesn't mean you can't fry other products, such as French fries, or frozen foods. This style is extremely versatile, and suited to fry just about anything you can imagine. The tubes also provide even heat distribution, so everything comes out equally tasty and uniform.

At the end of the day, when its finally time to clean up you'll be put at ease to know how easy this unit is to clean. Any debris or crumbs will make their way past the tube rack and gather at the cool zone for you. Then, when its time drain out your oil, simply use the 1-1/4" port drain valve.
