The base is ARC Botanical Gin from Full Circle Craft Distillers in Manila — 28 botanicals, 22 of them sourced and foraged across the archipelago: fresh pomelo, dalandan, calamansi, and dayap for a citrus profile no European gin can copy, Benguet pine, fresh mango, and the native flowers sampaguita, ylang-ylang, and kamia, anchored on Italian juniper and a base of whole-kernel French winter wheat from the Champagne region. That gin, which Wine Enthusiast's blind panel scored 92 points, is then rested in oak barrels to round the citrus brightness with vanilla, gentle spice, and a pale gold color, and bottled as a reserve release.
