Cowboys & Dreamers is Código 1530's añejo in a special edition for George Strait's 2024 album — the King of Country is a founding investor, and this is the bottle he put his record on. Código is the project of former Crocs CEO Ron Snyder and Federico Vaughan, backed by Strait, Brett Hull, and Mike Shanahan; it's made at Varo Destilería, NOM 1616, in Amatitán from fully mature blue Weber agave, cooked in stone-clay ovens, fermented with yeast from a local bakery, and double-distilled, additive-free. Inside is the house Añejo — aged eighteen months in French oak Napa Cabernet barrels, bottled at 40% ABV — the bottle named Añejo of the Year at the New York International Spirits Competition, with Double Gold at Stuttgart and Platinum Best in Class at the SIP Awards; check your bottle for the edition's exact specs. Bourbon & Banter: a flavor bomb on the palate, very smooth, no burn, a really special tequila. Sip Tequila: dried fruit, vanilla, toasted oak, butterscotch, and a smooth, dry finish. Expect cooked agave, caramel, dark cherry, cocoa, and cedar with the Cabernet's soft tannin and a long, elegant finish. Honest note: the liquid is the regular Añejo — you're paying for the Strait edition, and that's the point for the fan, the collector, or the Texan who needs a gift. Neat, on a big cube, with the album on. Cowboys and dreamers.Buy Codigo 1530 George Strait Cowboys & Dreamers Anejo Tequila online with fast shipping right to your door.
