Drumshanbo Single Pot Still Pinot Noir Cask Irish Whiskey｜ Other Products

Drumshanbo Single Pot Still Pinot Noir Cask Irish Whiskey is a cask-finished release from The Shed Distillery in County Leitrim, makers of Drumshanbo Gunpowder Gin. The distillery's single pot still whiskey, made from malted barley, unmalted barley and Irish oats, is finished in casks that previously held Pinot Noir and bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof). The wine cask brings red berries and a soft tannic grip to the creamy, spicy pot still base. Expect vanilla, berry fruit and oak on the nose, a rounded palate of honey, orchard fruit and light spice, and a finish that lingers with wine-cask fruit. It is a natural sipper and a good match for a whiskey drinker who also loves Burgundy. This 700ml bottle is a distinctive twist on Ireland's native whiskey style.
