Features
The 12-string design gives this Oscar Schmidt its wide, shimmering sound, adding natural chorus-like depth to chords and rhythm parts. For players looking to expand beyond a standard 6-string acoustic, it offers a fuller texture that works beautifully for singer-songwriter arrangements, worship music, classic rock, folk and recording layers.
The cutaway dreadnought shape provides strong projection and a comfortable reach into the upper register. A select spruce top helps deliver clarity and articulation, while mahogany back and sides add warmth and body to the overall tone.
The Barcus Berry EQ4T preamp/tuner makes this guitar easy to use on stage, at rehearsal or through a home recording setup. It helps bring out the full, lush sound of all 12 strings when connected to a PA or amp, while the built-in tuner keeps quick tuning adjustments close at hand.
A mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard and rosewood bridge give the guitar a familiar acoustic feel, while chrome die-cast tuners support reliable tuning adjustments. The fully adjustable truss rod adds practical long-term setup support, making this a strong option for beginner and intermediate players who want an approachable 12-string acoustic electric.
