Audio-Technica: AT-LP8X Semi-Automatic Direct Drive Turntable｜ Other Products

LAB POINTS

Audio-Technica's flagship audiophile direct-drive turntable (belt-less, high-torque, low maintenance)

semi-automatic: tonearm lift automatically raises the tonearm at the end of a record and stops the motor, saving stylus wear

pre-mounted Audio-Technica AT-VM95E cartridge on lightweight AT-LT10 headshell; a quality listening cartridge which can be upgraded with any VM95 stylus

J-shaped tonearm with adjustable anti-skating + VTA
height-adjustable feet
damped base construction for reduced low-frequency feedback

selectable 33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm speed playback
removable dustcover included
note: external phono preamp is required for this model

"The AT-LP8X steps up from the popular AT-LP5X with a more premium build (most notably the MDF wood body), improved tonearm, and new semi-automatic operation. The AT-LP8X is Audio-Technica's top of the line direct drive model, meant for high quality vinyl play. Note that you'll need an external phono preamp or integrated amp with this model." - TTL
