SUMMARY
The Salute of The Jugger has experienced many different versions throughout it's storied history including a highly cut down 91mins US cut known as The Blood of Heroes (included). This release restores The Salute of the Jugger to its rightful glory by restoring and remastering the original 104mins cut.
In a lawless future where society has crumbled and chaos reigns, the deadly sport of "Jugging" is the ultimate test of strength, skill, and survival. After years of exile, legendary player Sallow (Rutger Hauer, Blade Runner) is pulled back into the violent game, leading a ragtag team of misfits on a quest to ultimate victory. Joined by Kidda (Joan Chen, The Last Emperor) and Young Gar (Vincent D'Onofrio, Full Metal Jacket), they compete against teams of vicious, highly skilled Jugger players, risking life and limb every time they step onto the field.
Packed with fierce athleticism and high-octane sports action, within a dystopian world brought to life with gritty realism, THE SALUTE OF THE JUGGER is a cult classic not to be missed. Get ready to face the future... or be crushed in the game.
