Amrut Aatma Collector Series Single Cask #8039 is a limited single cask release from Amrut Distilleries in Bangalore, the distillery that put Indian single malt on the world map. The Aatma ("soul") series highlights individual casks of unusual character, and this one was matured in an ex-Sauternes barrel from Bordeaux, which previously held the region's famous sweet white wine. It is bottled at cask strength, 56.5% ABV, non chill-filtered, in a 750ml bottle.Sauternes casks lend honey, apricot and candied citrus to a whisky, and paired with Amrut's fruity, honeyed malt and fast tropical maturation the result is rich and dessert-like: stone fruit, marmalade, vanilla and a floral sweetness over spicy oak, with a long, warming finish. A rare, collectible bottle from one of the most exciting distilleries in the world.Buy Amrut Aatma Collector Series Single Cask #8039 Ex-Sauternes Indian Single Malt Whisky online with fast shipping right to your door.
