Mesa Boogie 5U4G Rectifier Amplifier TubeClassic coke-bottle rectification with a flexible, controlled responseThe Mesa Boogie 5U4G Rectifier Amplifier Tube is designed for players who want the elastic feel and musical voltage sag associated with traditional tube rectification. Its classic tall coke-bottle construction delivers a softer power-supply response than a solid-state rectifier while remaining slightly more controlled than a 5U4GB.FeaturesThis full-wave rectifier uses a directly heated 5-volt filament and an octal-style base. Under typical load it produces the gentle voltage drop that gives notes a responsive sense of give, making it well suited to amplifiers designed around vintage rectifier behaviour. Because the glass envelope is approximately five to five-and-a-half inches tall, available chassis-to-cabinet clearance should be confirmed before installation.Specifications
