Glenmorangie 12 Year Palo Cortado Sherry Cask Finish Highland Single Malt Scotch｜ Other Products

Glenmorangie 12 Year Old Palo Cortado is a small-batch release and the first Glenmorangie ever finished in Palo Cortado sherry casks, one of the rarest styles of sherry, created only when the protective flor yeast fails to form on a wine destined for Amontillado. Dr. Bill Lumsden sought out a handful of these elusive casks for the Tain distillery, whose tallest-in-Scotland stills have produced a famously delicate Highland spirit since 1843.The whisky spent eight years in American white oak bourbon casks before its finishing period in Palo Cortado wood. Bottled at 92 proof, it layers deep plum, milk chocolate, Brazil nut and sweet spice over Glenmorangie's floral, honeyed core, with the nutty, dry richness of the sherry lending new depth and grace. A collector's Glenmorangie for sherry lovers and a distinctive gift for anyone who thinks they know the distillery.Buy Glenmorangie 12 Year Palo Cortado Sherry Cask Finish Highland Single Malt Scotch online with fast shipping right to your door.
