Own a piece of the Moon. Laâyoune 002 is a genuine Lunar meteorite discovered in the Western Sahara region of Morocco, one of the most remarkable and productive meteorite hunting territories on Earth. Its vast, flat desert plains and dark stone-free surfaces make it an ideal landscape for spotting the dark fusion crust of incoming space rocks. This extraordinary fragment was violently ejected from the surface of the Moon by a powerful asteroid impact, embarking on an epic journey through space before finally coming to rest on Earth.

Classified as a Lunar Feldspathic Breccia, Laâyoune 002 is composed of ancient highland crust material from the Moon — the oldest and most primitive terrain on the lunar surface. Its texture is a tightly packed mosaic of fragmented minerals, glass and rock fused together under the immense heat and pressure of repeated cosmic collisions over billions of years. Rich in plagioclase feldspar and anorthosite, it carries the pale, otherworldly appearance of genuine Moon rock — a texture and composition completely unlike anything naturally formed on Earth.
What confirms its Lunar origin is its precise chemical and mineral fingerprint. Scientists identify Lunar meteorites by comparing their oxygen isotope ratios, mineral composition and trace element chemistry directly against rock samples returned by NASA's Apollo missions. Laâyoune 002 matched this fingerprint exactly — its high anorthosite content, low iron and nickel levels, and unique isotopic signature leaving absolutely no doubt of its origin on the surface of the Moon. It is this rigorous scientific verification process that separates a true Lunar meteorite from an ordinary Earth rock.
Only a few hundred Lunar meteorites have ever been confirmed in history, making them extraordinarily rare and among the most sought after specimens in the world of collecting. A once in a lifetime opportunity to own a genuine piece of another world.
