The Makita 9566CVR delivers powerful variable-speed grinding and cutting with advanced gear protection for long-lasting performance.

The Makita 9566CVR is a professional-grade 6" angle grinder engineered for demanding applications including cutting, grinding, and polishing metal, stone, and concrete. Powered by a high-output 13 AMP motor, it delivers consistent performance with a variable speed range that allows users to match RPM to the material for optimal results.

Built with Makita’s SJS™ (Super Joint System), this grinder features a mechanical clutch that helps prevent motor and gear damage by reducing torque during wheel bind-up. Combined with electronic speed control and soft start technology, it ensures smoother operation, improved control, and extended tool life in tough jobsite conditions.

Designed for durability, the grinder includes labyrinth construction and protective varnish seals to keep dust and debris away from internal components, making it ideal for heavy-duty industrial use and stone fabrication environments.
