Balblair 15 Year Old comes from the Highland distillery founded in 1790 at Edderton, where a Pictish standing stone on the grounds inspires the brand's logo. The 15 Year is matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks, then finished in first-fill Spanish oak sherry butts, a two-stage maturation that adds a layer of dried fruit and spice to Balblair's rich, honeyed house style.Bottled at 92 proof and non-chill-filtered, the 15 Year opens with orange peel, leather and green oak, then moves into baked apple, honey, toffee and warm sherry spice. The finish is long, drying and gently peppery with a return of orange and oak. It sits between the fruit-forward 12 Year and the deeply sherried 18 Year, and it is a rewarding step up for Highland malt fans who want a little more complexity.Buy Balblair 15 Year Old Single Malt Scotch online with fast shipping right to your door.
