Reliable｜Shimano XT M8220 Brakes (4-Piston)｜ Other Products

The 4-piston, 2-piece BR-M8220 caliper is the strongest in the M8200 family, made to increase power, consistency, and control. New, low viscosity oil keeps the M8220 brakes' bite point consistent in all trail and weather conditions, and new brake pads eliminate rattling noise caused by vibration. Increased power and consistency give riders pin-point control on rough trails.
Features - Shimano XT M8220 4-Piston Disc Brakes

Consistent brake control: Smooth SERVO WAVE ACTION optimizes the power curve and manages pad-to-rotor friction throughout the lever pull for better balanced braking, while new low viscosity mineral oil keeps power consistent over a wider range of temperatures.

Durability: BL-M8200's alloy lever blade utilizes SHIMANO's tried and true stamping process.

Evolved ergonomics: New lever shapes and pivot points and improved reach adjust make the BL-M8200 a comfortable fit for all types of riders.

Tidy cable routing: Updated cable routing on the BL-M8200 creates a clean aesthetic.

Solid Construction: Dual diameter 4-piston caliper design provides high braking power and excellent control

I-Spec EV compatible: Securing the shift lever on the brake lever

Updated Seals and Low Viscosity Oil:A reliable bite point in all temperatures and trail conditions.

Predictable Power: DH-capable power curve that has been perfected for the rigors of enduro racing and all-day trail riding.

Heat Dissipation: Resin or metal pads, finned or non-finned, allow riders to tune their precise brake feel when paired with SHIMANO rotors.
