Shopping Perspective｜ Other Products ｜Heated Windshield Install kit

Heated windshields eliminate condensation, de-mist and speed up de-icing of the glass, allowing for a clearer and safer view of the road ahead. This could be the difference between winning the World Rally Championship or simply giving yourself 10 minutes extra in bed on a cold winter's day.
The heated windshields use almost invisible tungsten elements which work to increase the surface temperature of the glass, and in turn quickly clears the screen increasing visibility.
• Wiring and Fitting:

Water is the biggest Problem for heated glass, therefore it is very important that no water can get to the edge of the glass, otherwise the element will start to fail very quickly and delamination can occur so be extra careful when fitting the glass.
This is a simple drawing of one circuit, please note that most of our larger screens have two circuits per glass. This means you will need to make up two separate harnesses as shown, one for each side. Please always have this done by a qualified auto electrician.
On this drawing we have used 25AMP circuits.
